I agree wholeheartedly with what you're saying. I was planning on putting it off for a while in lieu of studying, but I couldn't keep myself away. I'm glad I gave in. I beat it this morning, and it was a pretty incredible experience the whole way through. I'd definitely recommend playing through 1, 2 and 3.

I'd almost recommend stopping 4 and shooting through those others quickly. Having played all of the cannon Solid games, aside from the PSP outing, I can say it definitely helped my enjoyment of the story. There were also, as one would expect, lots of twists and lots of spoilers related to the first three games. So, if you play through MGS4 before the others, you'll loosely know what's going to happen in each MGS and it may impact your enjoyment.

Anyhoo, back to MGS4, the game kept raising the bar all the way through. I was constantly being surprised, right up through the credits. Graphically, while the game may not be bleeding edge, I don't think we're going to see a game that looks as good, let alone a game that looks better, for a while.

If anyone has saved anything from my older SCII images, please see if you can help Matthew on his quest on SCII weapons.

I have mis-operated my 250G hard disk (plugged in a wrong power supply and it burnt) and it died on me, all my older data were lost.

Has anyone been here and saved the images Felix had under Soul Calibur II weapons? The ones that are screenshots from the Museum's Weapon Gallery.

He's losted all his, and I've been searching forever to try and find them. If anyone has them, or the ability to take new screenshots for me, could you send an email to ice.fire.phoenix@gmail.com. I would greatly appreciate it.

I agree with you Maskrider, the Silent Hill series has really affected me, 2 most of all, and I feel that now that the series is continuing on without the original makers, it's just not the same thing.
I bought and played through Origins, the PS2 port, and though there was nothing overtly "wrong" about the game, storywise it didn't feel necessary, and I don't think it added much to the series as a whole. Also it just didn't have that special, indescernible quality that's uniqe to the other games.
Also, thanks for your incredible Silent Hill galleries, they've been a real joy to peruse.
Take care!

Well as for Heavenly Sword I was playing it few weeks ago on my fiend PS3 while he was in Poland again. It's nice game but still some graphics stay quite "simple". I hope to get my PS3 when MGS4 will appear in bundle around Europe.
