It will be perfect if you have both, but you don't most of the time. From what I've read, Homecoming is still a decent game to many gamers, no matter it is my Silent Hill or not. I'll give it a try, much like I bought Silent Hill Zero (Origin in US/EU). But don't have much expectations on it, though. The issue that got my nerve the most is the adherence to the Silent Hill movie (I watched it in cinema day one and I think it is just a shit movie that tied too many things in the Silent Hill world together). Like an old sci-fi series, it relied heavily on story and emotional connection with the audience to keep itself alive. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but I don't see why it can't have both. If only someone could do it right, and perhaps with some work, even an American could do it. I don't expect 5 to be the one that re-lights the silent hill passion, and origins was a joke. However, I still have hope for a future in silent hill. SH:0 was done by American developer - now it is Western horror with eye on action - symbolism and J-Horror'ness are pushed away, sadly. SH5 is developed by another Americans and probably will contain more the Western way of horror - more action and shallowness. Such are my expectations. I bought and played through Origins, the PS2 port, and though there was nothing overtly "wrong" about the game, storywise it didn't feel necessary, and I don't think it added much to the series as a whole. Also it just didn't have that special, indescernible quality that's uniqe to the other games. Also, thanks for your incredible Silent Hill galleries, they've been a real joy to peruse. Take care!
